Conclusion
Throughout this project, our team members communicated effectively and efficiently to understand how Toms River Regional incorporates the Information System into their curriculum, students, and staff. Understanding Toms River’s business strategy, analysts, including the Five Components Model, such as Hardware, Software, Data, Procedure, and People, allowed us to understand how the Information System is formed and utilized in an educational setting. Toms Regional Rivers made themselves available on all social media platforms, where visitors, students, and parents can express their concerns, receive current updates and news. While viewing their social media account, one can quickly tell how active they are on all their platforms. It shows how important the students, staff, and the community are to Toms Regional River School.
Due to recent events, Toms Rivers implemented the use of technology for students and staff to work remotely, in which classrooms participate in using daily video calls, activities, and collaborating. Management Information System and Technology serves its purpose in providing effective use of information in an organization setting, such as sharing knowledge and understanding organizational objectives and missions.
